Hi, I’m Jobelle Serut from the Philippines. Before stepping into the freelancing and virtual assistant world, I spent nearly a decade building my career in retail sales. I started as a sales assistant, worked my way up to cashier, and eventually became a supervisor—leading teams and managing daily operations.

Most recently, I supervised R.O.X, a one-stop shop for premium outdoor brands such as The North Face, Columbia, and Salomon. My retail journey taught me valuable skills in customer service, team management, communication, and problem-solving—skills that I now bring with me into the virtual space.

During the pandemic, I discovered the world of online work. Inspired by the opportunities, I invested time in learning, studying, and upskilling to align my experience with virtual assistance. I eventually made the decision to resign from my retail career and fully focus on freelancing.

Today, I’m excited to apply my background and the new skills I’ve gained through various courses to help businesses grow and succeed online.
